Wolmirsleben is a municipality located in the district of Salzlandkreis within the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated approximately 25 kilometres south-west of the city of Magdeburg. As of 2016, the municipality had a population of 1,417 residents.
Historical records first mention the location in 937 under the name Wilmersleve, which remained relatively consistent for fifty years. By 1144, it was recorded as Wilmarslope, and by 1214, the name changed to Wolmersleve. A notable local landmark is the municipality's water tower, which is still in operation and is depicted as a tower on the town's coat of arms.
