Rochau is a municipality located in the district of Stendal within the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It serves as a local administrative area situated in the northeastern part of the country.
The municipality underwent an administrative change in January 2011 when it absorbed the former municipality of Klein Schwechten. This merger integrated the two areas into a single administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Rochau.
