Klietz is a municipality located in the district of Stendal within the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It serves as a local administrative area situated in the northeastern part of the country.
In January 2010, the municipality underwent an administrative expansion by absorbing the former municipality of Neuermark-Lübars. This merger integrated the neighboring territory into the existing municipal structure of Klietz.
