Angern is a municipality located in the Börde district of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It serves as a local administrative center for its surrounding region.
The municipality was formed on January 1, 2010, through the absorption of the former municipalities of Bertingen, Mahlwinkel, and Wenddorf. Today, it consists of five distinct districts: Angern, Bertingen, Mahlwinkel, Wenddorf, and Zibberick.
