Weischlitz is a municipality located in the Vogtlandkreis district of Saxony, Germany. It serves as a local administrative center within its region.
The town expanded its territory through several municipal mergers over the last two decades. In 1999, it absorbed the former municipalities of Kloschwitz and Kürbitz. Further expansions occurred in 2011 with the inclusion of Burgstein and in 2017 with the addition of Reuth.
