Neumark, also referred to as the New March or East Brandenburg, was a historical region located east of the Oder River. It served as a territory of the Margraviate of Brandenburg and its subsequent successor states.
The majority of the region became part of Poland in 1945. However, certain villages from the former districts of Königsberg in the New March and Weststenberg remained within German borders.
