Löbau is a city located in eastern Saxony, Germany, within the traditional region of Upper Lusatia. It is positioned geographically between the slopes of the Löbauer Berg and the fertile hilly terrain of the Upper Lusatian Mountains.
The city serves as a gateway to this volcanic mountainous area. It is situated approximately halfway between the cities of Bautzen, Görlitz, and Zittau.
