Jahnatal is a municipality located in the district of Mittelsachsen within the state of Saxony, Germany. It serves as a local administrative area situated in the eastern part of the country.
The municipality was officially established on January 1, 2023. This formation resulted from the merger of two previously independent municipalities: Ostrau and Zschaitz-Ottewig.
