Delitzsch is a town located in the state of Saxony in Germany. It is situated approximately 20 km north of Leipzig and 30 km east of Halle (Saale).
As of the end of 2015, Delitzsch had a population of 24,850 inhabitants. It holds the distinction of being the largest town within the district of Nordsachsen.
