Borstendorf is a village located in the district of Erzgebirgskreis within the state of Saxony, Germany. It historically functioned as an independent municipality before undergoing administrative changes.
As of January 1, 2015, Borstendorf ceased to be an independent municipality and became part of the larger municipality of Grünhainichen.
