Blasewitz is a large borough (Stadtbezirk) located in the eastern center of Dresden, Germany. It is situated along the banks of the Elbe river.
The district is composed of seven distinct quarters: Blasewitz, Striesen-Ost, Striesen-Süd, Striesen-West, Tolkewitz/Seidnitz-Nord, Seidnitz/Dobritz, and Gruna.
