Penzlin

Penzlin is a town located in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is situated approximately 13 km southwest of Neubrandenburg and 27 km east of Waren.

The town has expanded through several municipal absorptions over the last decade. In July 2008, it incorporated Alt Rehse, followed by Groß Vielen, Groß Flotow, Marihn, and Mollenstorf in June 2009. It further expanded to include Klein Lukow in January 2011 and Mallin in January 2012.
