Penkun is a town located in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, situated in north-eastern Germany. It is recognized as one of the smallest towns within the state.
The town is positioned approximately 25 kilometres east of Prenzlau and 23 kilometres southwest of Szczecin.
