Obere Warnow is a municipality located in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district within the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The municipality was officially formed on January 1, 2012, following the merger of two former municipalities: Grebbin and Herzberg.
The settlement derives its name from the Warnow river, which originates near the village of Grebbin. It serves as a rural administrative area within the region's geographic landscape.
