Lübtheen is a municipality located in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district within the German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Geographically, it is situated approximately 28 km west of Ludwigslust and 37 km southwest of Schwerin.
The municipality is also designated as part of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region.
