Klütz is a town located in the Nordwestmecklenburg district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is situated near the Baltic Sea coast, positioned approximately 22 km northwest of Wismar and 33 km northeast of Lübeck.
The town is notable for several cultural and historical landmarks, including the manor house known as Bothmer Castle, which is located just outside the village. In the center of Klütz stands a medieval Brick Gothic village church dedicated to Our Lady. Additionally, the town houses a literary center named after the writer Uwe Johnson.
