Crivitz is a town located in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is situated approximately 18 km east of the city of Schwerin.
The area features the Barniner See lake nearby. Additionally, Crivitz maintains a friendship link with Seaford, East Sussex. The town shares its name with Crivitz, Wisconsin, which was named after this German location by its founder.
