Ruhstadt

Rühstädt is a municipality located in the Prignitz district of Brandenburg, Germany. It is situated in close proximity to the confluence of the Havel and Elbe rivers.

The village is well known for its large population of resident white storks. In recognition of this characteristic, the initiative EuroNatur awarded Rühstädt the title of European Stork Village in 1996.
