Guben is a town situated on the Lusatian Neisse river in Lower Lusatia, within the state of Brandenburg in eastern Germany. It is located in the Spree-Neiße district and has a current population of 20,049.
The city is notable for being divided between two countries. Following the establishment of the Oder–Neisse line in 1945, the town was separated into Guben in Germany and Gubin in Poland.
