Stubben is a village and former municipality located in the district of Cuxhaven within the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. The name of the location translates roughly to "tree stump."
Historically, the area surrounding Stubben was characterized as a forest region inhabited by various wildlife, including deer. On November 1, 2011, Stubben officially became part of the municipality of Beverstedt.
