Oelixdorf is a municipality located in the district of Steinburg within the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. Geographically, it is situated north of the river Stör and lies approximately three kilometres east of the town of Itzehoe.
The area serves as part of the outer commuter belt for the port city of Hamburg, which is located 50 kilometres to the southeast. Major transportation infrastructure is nearby, including Federal Highway B206 and Motorway A23.
