Moorrege is a municipality located in the district of Pinneberg within the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres northwest of Hamburg and lies about 2.7 kilometres south of the town of Uetersen.
The settlement is positioned near the Elbe river and along the small river Pinnau. It serves as a local municipality in the northern region of Germany.
