Langeneß is a municipality located in the district of Nordfriesland within the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. The municipality is composed of two distinct halligen, which are small undiked islands situated in the Wadden Sea.
The area consists specifically of the islands Langeneß and Oland. Historically, these two landmasses were directly attached to one another until a significant flood occurred in 1634, which separated them into their current configuration.
