Hohenlockstedt is a municipality located in the district of Steinburg within the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is situated approximately 8 km northeast of the town of Itzehoe.
The area was formerly known as Lockstedter Lager and served as a training ground in Holstein until 1927.
