Heiligenhafen is a town located in the district of Ostholstein within the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is situated on the coast of the Baltic Sea, positioned approximately 60 km northeast of Lübeck and 55 km east of Kiel.
The town sits directly opposite the island of Fehmarn. It serves as a coastal settlement in the northern region of Germany.
