Heikendorf is a municipality situated in the district of Plön within the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. Located off the Baltic Sea, it serves as a seaside resort approximately 10 km from the city of Kiel.
The area features historical significance, most notably represented by the Old Viking settlement located in Möltenort, which constitutes the oldest part of the town.
