Bordesholm is a municipality located in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated within the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde.
The name Bordesholm also refers to a former historical district that existed during the periods of the Kingdom of Prussia and the Weimar Republic. During this time, Bordesholm served as the district capital until it was dissolved in 1932. Following its dissolution, the territory was parceled out to neighboring districts.
