Arnis is a traditional martial art from the Philippines. It is also commonly referred to by the terms eskrima or kali, which are often used interchangeably to describe these Filipino fighting systems.
The practice emphasizes weapon-based combat using sticks, knives, bladed weapons, and various improvised tools. In addition to weaponry, Arnis includes "open hand" techniques performed without any equipment.
