Albersdorf is a municipality located in the district of Dithmarschen within the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is situated near the Kiel Canal, approximately 14 km southeast of the town of Heide.
The settlement was first documented in 1281 under the name Aluerdesdorpe, which translates to "village of the old custodian." Today, Albersdorf is an integral part of the Amt Mitteldithmarschen.
