Mettlach is a municipality located in the district of Merzig-Wadern within the state of Saarland, Germany. It is situated on the river Saar, positioned approximately 7 km northwest of Merzig and 30 km south of Trier.
The town is notable as the headquarters for Villeroy & Boch. Additionally, Mettlach tiles are named after the municipality.
