Welling is a town located in South East London, England. It is situated within the London Borough of Bexley, positioned approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of Bexleyheath and 4 miles (6.4 km) southeast of Woolwich. The town lies about 10.5 miles (16.9 km) from Charing Cross.
Historically, Welling was part of the county of Kent before the creation of Greater London in 1965.
