Wackernheim is a former Ortsgemeinde, or municipality, located in the Mainz-Bingen district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It historically functioned as a member of a Verbandsgemeinde, which is a specific type of collective municipality used in the region.
Since July 2019, Wackernheim has been incorporated into the town of Ingelheim am Rhein. The area serves as part of the local administrative structure within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
