Üxheim is an Ortsgemeinde, or municipality, located in the Vulkaneifel district within the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It functions as part of the Verbandsgemeinde of Gerolstein, which is a collective municipality headquartered in the town of Gerolstein.
The municipality includes the outlying center of Niederehe, which holds the status of a state-recognized recreational resort (Erholungsort). The area is situated within the volcanic landscape characteristic of the Vulkaneifel region.
