Streithausen is an Ortsgemeinde, or community, located within the Westerwaldkreis district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It functions as a constituent part of a Verbandsgemeinde.
The municipality is also designated as a state-recognized tourism community, known in German as a Fremdenverkehrsgemeinde. This status acknowledges its role in providing and promoting local tourism services within the region.
