Sinzig is a town located in the district of Ahrweiler within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated along the river Rhine, positioned approximately 5 km southeast of Remagen and 25 km southeast of Bonn.
As of 2004, the town had a population of approximately 20,000 inhabitants.
