Schönenberg-Kübelberg is a municipality located in the Kusel district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It serves as the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde Oberes Glantal, which is a type of collective municipality. The town was established on June 7, 1969, during an administrative restructuring that merged the former municipalities and outlying centers of Schönenberg, Kübelberg, Schmittweiler, and Sand.
The combined centers of these former entities now function as an economic hub for the southern Kusel district. By population, Schönenberg-Kübelberg is the largest municipality within the Kusel district. Additionally, it holds the status of a state-recognized tourism community.
