Rehe

Germany

Rehe is a historical name for Chengde, which is currently a prefecture-level city located in Hebei province, China. It is situated approximately 225 kilometres (140 mi) northeast of Beijing.

The city is primarily known as the site of the Mountain Resort, an expansive imperial garden and palace that served as a summer residence for the Qing emperors. Additionally, the local dialect of the region is noted for being the closest to Standard Chinese, which drew several inspirations from the Chengde dialect.
