Pomerania is a historical region located in Central Europe on the southern shore of the Baltic Sea. The territory is currently divided between Poland and Germany.
The central and eastern portions of the region are situated within the West Pomeranian, Pomeranian, and Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeships of Poland. The western part of Pomerania belongs to the German states of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Brandenburg.
