Plein is an Ortsgemeinde, or municipality, located in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It functions as a member of the Verbandsgemeinde Wittlich-Land.
The administrative seat for the Verbandsgemeinde is situated in the town of Wittlich. Although Wittlich serves as the seat, it is not geographically part of the Verbandsgemeinde itself.
