Plaidt is a municipality located in the district of Mayen-Koblenz within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in western Germany. It is geographically positioned to the south of the town of Andernach.
Since 2017, Plaidt has served as the administrative seat of the Verbandsgemeinde Pellenz. The municipality functions as a local government center for its surrounding area.
