Münchwald is an Ortsgemeinde, or municipality, located in the Bad Kreuznach district within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It serves as a member of the Verbandsgemeinde of Rüdesheim, which has its administrative seat in the municipality of Rüdesheim an der Nahe.
The municipality is recognized as a state-recognized tourism community (Fremdenverkehrsort). Established around 1700, Münchwald is noted for being one of the newest municipalities within the Bad Kreuznach district.
