Mühlpfad is an Ortsgemeinde, or municipality, located in the Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis district within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It serves as a member of the Verbandsgemeinde Hunsrück-Mittelrhein, which has its administrative seat in Emmelshausen.
The village is notable for being the smallest municipality in the Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis district, with a population of approximately 70 inhabitants. Despite its small size, Mühlpfad has successfully avoided being amalgamated with any neighboring municipalities.
