Marzhausen is an Ortsgemeinde, or local community, located in the Westerwaldkreis district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It serves as a member of the Verbandsgemeinde Hachenburg, which functions as a collective municipality. The community was first documented in 1346 and is situated geographically between the towns of Hachenburg and Altenkirchen.
The area lies on the edge of the Kroppach Switzerland and is primarily characterized by agriculture. Governance of the community is handled by a council consisting of seven members, including an extraofficial mayor who are all elected to their positions.
