Lipporn is a municipality located in the district of Rhein-Lahn within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in western Germany.
The town is historically significant as the seat of Dudo of Laurenburg, a 12th-century Lord of Lipporn. He is recognized as a founder of the House of Nassau, an aristocratic dynasty that eventually produced the monarchs of the Netherlands.
