Lampaden is a municipality located in the Trier-Saarburg district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is an ancient settlement with a history dating back over a thousand years.
The area was inhabited during both Celtic and Roman times. Historical records indicate that the village acquired grazing rights in the year 1036.
