Kail is an Ortsgemeinde, or municipality, located in the Cochem-Zell district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It functions as a local administrative unit within the larger collective municipality known as the Verbandsgemeinde of Kaisersesch.
The village is situated in the western part of the state and serves as a constituent community under the jurisdiction of its respective Verbandsgemeinde.
