Irrel is a municipality located in the district of Bitburg-Prüm within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Eifel region, positioned near the border with Luxembourg.
The town is geographically defined by its location at the confluence of the rivers Prüm and Nims. It sits approximately 15 km south-west of Bitburg and 5 km north-east of Echternach.
