Holzerath is a municipality located in the Trier-Saarburg district within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It occupies a land area of approximately 6.76 square kilometers and sits at an elevation of 453 meters.
As of December 31, 2018, the municipality had a total population of 431 residents. The local government is currently led by Mayor Freedbert Theis.
