Dirmstein is an Ortsgemeinde, or municipality, located in the Bad Dürkheim district within the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the outermost northeast of the district and lies to the northwest of the Rhine-Neckar urban agglomeration.
With a population of approximately 3,000 inhabitants, Dirmstein is the third largest municipality in the Verbandsgemeinde of Leiningerland. While the seat of this collective municipality is located in Grünstadt, that town itself is not part of the Verbandsgemeinde.
