Uerdingen

Uerdingen is a district located within the city of Krefeld in Germany. As of 2019, the area has a population of 17,888 residents. While it currently functions as part of Krefeld, Uerdingen was originally an independent city before merging with Krefeld in 1929.

The district is primarily recognized for its industrial history and local landmarks. It is notably home to a railcar factory and a local distillery. Additionally, the name Uerdingen serves as the eponym for the Uerdingen line.
